Director of Beowulf& Founding director of Colombia in Venice. Valeria Diaz Granada is an independent art curator and consultant from Colombia living between Paris and Tokyo. With degrees of Philosophy and Sociology from the Sorbonne University, Art history at the École du Louvre and a Masters degree at the EHESS in Paris, she has been a consultant on a variety of projects and often collaborates with different artists, institutions and collectives internationally. Valeria is the director of acquisitions and art director of a private art collection based in Tokyo.
She is the director of Beowulf, an art catalyser with offices in Tokyo and Zürich and representations in Paris and Athens, dedicated to conceive, commission and support contemporary cultural narratives for the rising generation of artists, curators and collectors alike. She offers art advisory services dealing in post-war, modern and contemporary art.
Operating in three different continents, Valeria helps to build strong and meaningful art collections around the globe and works for different cultural, educational and multi-disciplinary projects in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
